In our world, the things we say to ourselves are paramount to success because it is like a balancing scale. Negativity tips the balance one way and positivity will tip it the other way. However, it’s more complicated than this the more you look into it.
THE UNEXPECTED POSITIVE IMPACT OF NEGATIVE TALK
To start off in understanding how to better affect yourself through the words going on in your head, you must dive into the mind of someone like David Goggins, Lance Armstrong, and Terrance Fox.

These individuals display a great quality which is mental fortitude, but they also prove that it comes with a price. The power of the mind can be like a self-inflicted wound, and in many cases it is difficult to escape this. The only way to combat it is to harness that power of negativity into your own craft. To do this effectively, you must first acknowledge and become aware of what I like to call the downard tendencies of the mind’s speech.
THE DOWNWARD TENDENCIES OF SPEECH
When you say something to your self like I will do it tomorrow, that’s a downward tendency. When you ask yourself questions like why did they get this and I didn’t? Those are downward tendencies. To use downward tendencies to your advantage, you must acknowledge that the source of those words only belongs to one kind of person who is not only a b*tch, but a failure as well. Coincide these descriptors to downward speech and separate your successful self from it as much as possible.
IN CONCLUSION
Conclusively, whenever the downward speech comes to you, it will pass rather than be consumed by you. A passing thought is nothing more than a tuff of dust floating through the air. Remember this and your days will show more promise for success.
